A new website for Royal Brackla, built around its refreshed identity and The Art of Sherry Cask Finishing.
The Brief
Royal Brackla had just refreshed its brand identity, with an updated logo and new content. Its website was a single landing page with no product pages and no way to shop. The brand needed a site that put the new identity to work, showed off the art of sherry cask finishing, and gave every bottle in the range a page of its own.
The Process
Focusing the sitemap. With a tight timeline, the site was planned around the pages that mattered most: a homepage, a product landing page, individual product pages and an FAQ. Each one had a clear job, from telling the brand story to helping visitors choose and buy a bottle.
Applying the new identity. The refreshed logo, guidelines and content were applied across every page template, so the site launched looking like the brand it now represents.
Telling the sherry cask story. Sherry cask finishing is what sets Royal Brackla apart, so it runs through the whole site, from the homepage to each product page.
Adding a path to purchase. The old landing page had no way to shop. Each product page now links visitors directly to buy.
Knowing the category. Experience in the spirits industry made it easier to spot what the site was missing and what whisky drinkers look for when they browse. Every product page includes
Beyond the website
The same refreshed identity carries through to Royal Brackla’s Instagram, where I designed the social content to match the new site. Visitors moving between the feed and the website see one consistent brand.
